A young girl hawking in a market in Aba comes to announce to her regular customers that school is about to resume, so they may no longer see her selling there. She tells them that her mother will be taking over from her and pleads with them to continue patronising her mother.
A PRAYER FOR ALL THE FIRSTBORNS
To every firstborn,
May you find clarity when life feels uncertain.
May strength meet you in every responsibility.
May favour lead you to the right opportunities.
May you never lack what you need.
May wisdom guide your decisions.
May your sacrifices never cost you your peace.
May you receive the same love you freely give.
May God lighten your burdens.
May your dreams have room to breathe.
May you find support when you need it.
May your efforts bring meaningful rewards.
May you flourish beyond your responsibilities
May God go ahead of you, remain beside you, and hold you up when you grow tired.
I boarded a cab and the driver was on call, as I heard Peter Obi, I started recording, turns out the guy was calling into a radio program , baba finish APC 😭
I have his permission to post.
Don’t tie your healing to the hope that someone is going to someday regret what they did to you. Some people do not regret doing you wrong. Some even forget doing you wrong. Some are unaware of their wrongdoing. Some will never accept that they did you wrong.
As you grow, you realize that love isn’t about getting everything right. Two people can hurt each other, misunderstand each other and get things wrong, even when they truly care.
What matters is what you do next. If you both care enough to listen, take responsibility and change the things that keep hurting each other, even difficult phases can be worked through.
Love doesn’t need two perfect people. It needs two people who are willing to keep choosing each other.

Please skip number 4, it can make you think of Death, the writer wrote it after his 4 year old son died after falling from a building.
For some reasons he channeled darkness into those lyrics , an infective darkness
If you know the clause markers, they are very simple.
1. Adjectival clause markers are relative pronouns: who, which, whose, whom, and that. E.g., The man who baked the cake is here. “Who baked the cake” is an adjectival clause. It modifies the noun “man” in the main clause.
2. Noun clause depends whether it’s subject or object of the verb. For the object of the verb, the sentence are mostly indirect or reported speeches.
E.g. She said that she was going home. “That she was going home” is the noun clause. It’s the object of the verb “said.”
If it’s subject of the verb, the noun clause would acts as the person or thing doing the main action. Clause markers like “that” or “what” often start the sentence and they come before the verb.
E.g., That he went there is not my business. “That he went there” is the noun clause and it’s the subject of the verb “is” in the sentence.
3. Adverbial clause. There are different types and each has its clause markers. They always modify the verb.
a. Adverbial clause of time (when, before, after, until, as soon as, since, while)
b. Adverb clause of place (where, wherever)
c. Adverbial clause of reason ( because, since, as)
d. Adverbial clause of purpose (so that, in order that)
e. Adverbial clause of manner (as, as if, as though)
f. Adverbial clause of condition (if, unless, provided that, as long as)
g. Adverbial clause of concession (although, even though, though)
h. Adverbial clause of result (so..that, such..that)
E.g., When it rained, we stayed under the shed. When it rained is the adverbial clause. It modifies the verb “stayed” in the main clause or sentence.
If you know the clause markers, you are good to do. But read the sentences and understand the context to identify the clause and its functions. For the adverbial clauses, WAEC won’t ask student to state the exact type of adverbial clause. Telling them adverbial clause is enough.
3. A phrase doesn’t have a predicate, whether main or auxiliary. An adjectival phrase doesn’t have any verb but the adjective is the head word.
E.g., The girl extremely happy about the result is here. “Extremely happy about the result” is the adjectival phrase. It modifies the noun “girl” in the sentence
4. Noun phrase also doesn’t contain a verb but it functions as an object, subject, and complement of the sentence.
E.g. In the above example, “the girl extremely happy about the result” is a noun phrase because the noun “girl” is in the picture. It’s subject of the verb “is.”
Another example is “The old man died yesterday.” The old man is a noun phrase here. It’s the subject of the verb “died”
For object of the verbs, John bought a new phone. “A new phone” is the noun phrase and it’s the object of the verb “bought.”
Yearn for something.
Pray about it.
Stay open to it.
Life will amaze you with how things align.
Sometimes, God will answer by sending the right people your way.
They will mention it.
Point you towards it.
Open a door you didn’t know existed.
Pray, prepare and pay attention.
100% approve of this.
You can draw a straight line behind the exceptionality of Asian students to how they're not forced to learn basic concepts in languages that's not their mothertongue.
When they get to English class, let them learn English.
I know you’re tired of trying. Tired of hoping. Tired of pretending everything is okay when, deep down, you’re barely holding yourself together.
But listen to me: this chapter is not your whole story.
You may have failed. You may have lost money, lost people, lost opportunities, or even lost yourself along the way. But none of that means your life is over.
Sometimes, the strongest people aren’t the ones who never fall. They’re the ones who fall, cry, rest, and somehow find the strength to stand again.
Take a break if you need to. Cry if you have to. Start over if necessary. But don’t quit on yourself. One day, you may look back at this painful season and realize it was preparing you for the life you prayed for.
Your current situation is temporary. Your pain is not your identity. Your failures are not your final destination. Keep going. Even if today all you can do is take one more step.
You haven’t come this far just to stop here.
My core! You either like me or you don’t and that’s okay. I don’t have the strength to convince anyone or apply pressure. I can’t do it, I won’t do it.
One day, everything will make sense.
The delays. The disappointments. The people who left. The doors that closed.
For now, just trust the process and keep moving.❤️
A great relationship isn't built by finding the perfect person ,it's built by two imperfect people who never stop working on themselves and each other .. m
