Ford City mall has been dead for 15+ yrs. They want the property sold & replaced with something Chicago can profit from. Crime over exaggerations are being used to expedite the sell; Just like crime is used by Walgreens to mask their failures vs competition in the pharmacy sector

@UChicago This is why The Obama Center was built at that location. To 1) shift more money to his Wife's old employer, the university of Chicago campuses and 2) to shift tourism money to an area which already has a nice economy/doesnt need more money, his old neighborhood Hyde Park lol
