Not everyone realizes where the meme $CATE came from... the meme emerged on Reddit and 4chan shortly after $Doge went viral, created to represent cats in the same surreal internet style.

Our token is the first CA @chibawan_info ever shared; our rebrand will be just as timeless.

The $CATE coin that was bundled by a group of bad actors lied about the entire backstory to their token, claiming that it was a cat named CATE which had been adopted by @kabosumama.

Then after Sato Atsuko (Kabosumama) clarified that it was not real, they even attempted to further gaslight the public with false testimony as to that the cat was real and that its name was Cate, except that they simply weren’t personally affiliated with her… today we then witnessed very early wallets dump their chart from a near 80 million dollar market cap to sub 9 million within record time.

As you can see in the recording below, @Smoke_theArtist, the CEO of @ownthedoge warned this was a scam and that it was fake, even reported that it was fake under @teslaownersSV’s post, which is where the story seems to have come from, yet their team continued to lie to the public in an attempt to grift on the stellar reputation of both Sato Atsuko and @chibawan_info, the rescue who saved Kabosu aka $DOGE.

Since then, @chibawan_info has shared a CA for a $CATE coin without any larp associated to it, from whom they have received numerous donations, and where they have collected the fees on the token… this is the first CA ever to have been shared by the rescue responsible for saving DOGE:

This is a historical token representing a monumental moment in crypto, where we for the first time have an opportunity to benefit the rescue who brought us $DOGE, $NEIRO, $COCORO, and every other animal ever adopted by @kabosumama.

I think that there is no other cat coin or “Catecoin” more significant than the actual coin first shared by @chibawan_info in the 12 year period of time they’ve been active on X.
