Fuckin crooked ass Illinois and its politicians couldn't even keep the Chicago Bears in state!! Bears were looking for tax relief on taxes they will get charged in the future. They were willing to pay to build their OWN stadium. They needed the state to pay for infrastructure like wider roads and train extension to connect to stadium! The amount of money Illinois will lose out on this will be insane. This was going to be world class stadium with year round usage and hosting future super bowl games!! This opportunity comes very rare and Illinois fumbled.
