We mourn the passing of Ella Jenkins, one of the most iconic folk musicians of the 20th century, who revolutionized children’s music and inspired generations of listeners around the world. She died peacefully on Nov. 9 at her residence in Chicago, Illinois. She was 100 years old.
As someone who grew up in rural/rust belt Ohio, lives in a city neighborhood, traveled to rural communities for public health, knocked doors for Dems—you see this gap between consumer goods and housing/healthcare/childcare everywhere—brilliantly explained in this video

Many people will continue struggling to come to terms with the election results, but there’s still a lot you can do:
1) Be irritable at work
2) Withdraw from people who love you/need you
3) Make an impulsive and self destructive major life decision
