@pgumshoe13@pugsandco@ChicagoBears It's not going to happen. They want to OWN their own stadium and make money off of it. They can't do that at soldier field.
@JimSamuel217043@KristenMeghan What about the other events. You forget with the new stadium it would be a "Year Round venue" not just the summer and fall
@Generation4580@xLauren_Mx The stadium could be finished by now. To where the Bears could have potentially ready to move in. Alongside Buffalo this season or Nashville next season. But no.
@Generation4580@xLauren_Mx And that's one of the reasons they are contemplating leaving. "Oh it's ok the bears can wait." They've been going through red tape for over THREE YEARS.
The only reason there was progress at all was they threatened to leave.
If they handled it earlier...
@StephenSBrown28@ClistonBrown The bears can change that. They're literally building up a stadium community. Which will probably add.
Hotels, Dining, Entertainment
@EmptySeatsPics Because it's not smart. Why would they stay in the smallest and one of the worse stadiums in the league. And get pretty much nothing in return. To stay in town.
@Levski3773@34Camo_@grimposting Blame the state. They're the ones who..
REFUSED TO HELP WITH THE INFRASTRUCTURE.
And told the bears NO. When they didn't agree to be overtaxed to stay
@sauvamemte@youdoingtoomuch It needs upgrades again. They are one of the most iconic franchises in one of the major US Markets. With the smallest stadium in the league.
Plus they want to OWN their stadium rather than just rent. That can't happen at Soldier Field. Because of the Park District.
@Austin53431179@NflOutdated Hammond is a lot closer to Chicago (hotels, airports, etc) than Green Bay is to Milwaukee.
NY Got a super bowl why wouldn't Chicago?
Doesn't even have to multiple they just want ONE.
