OpenAI I’m saying this with all the love of someone who’s already upgraded to that comical $500 tier, what are we even doing here man.
- ChatGPT: can execute agentic tasks, run code, create documents, interact with apps
- ChatGPT Work: can execute agentic tasks, run code, create documents, interact with apps, but has a VM and a browser
- Codex: can execute agentic tasks, run code, create documents, interact with apps, has a VM and a browser, but shows you file diffs
- Dots: can execute agentic tasks, run code, create documents, interact with apps, has a VM and a browser, but has a cute mascot
$META CEO Mark Zuckerberg says major AI firms signed a White House accord committing to internal controls and independent board reviews as they develop superintelligence.
He says framework is built around “multiple layers of auditing and controls.”
🇺🇸 I’m not sure there has ever been a table quite like the one Trump assembled at the White House today.
Elon on his left. Jensen Huang on his right. Zuckerberg, Pichai, Bezos and many of the people actually building the AI economy around them.
And Trump’s message to the room was remarkably simple:
“We have a very big lead, and we’re gonna keep our lead.”
Washington now explicitly talks about AI as national power.
Trump says it could become bigger than the Industrial Revolution, and he increasingly describes the competition with China as one with a winner and no meaningful second place.
A week after Xi sat down with many of these same technology leaders, they’re back in Washington together.
I think we’re watching Silicon Valley become part of American statecraft in real time.

OpenAI’s AI agent “Dot” is available only to users with the paid for pro plan and not for free users.
Meta $META with Muse on the other hand is. Why would anyone use Dot?
Why the fuck is OpenAI Dots keeps talking about work? This seems to be a B2B product. Very good for OpenAI, but not a even close to what @muse can do for you.
Meta will own the consumer.

It sounds like "dots" (ChatGPT's answer to Muse) are going to be one part of ChatGPT tucked away in a side menu, only for plus and pro members.
This is where Muse has an advantage. Muse is not a side-menu item, it is the entire app, and it's for everyone. From the consumer perspective having the agent front and center makes the purpose of the app unmistakable.
Zuck is really putting his gigantic cash machine from Facebook and Instagram to work. There's a big opportunity here.

OpenAI’s new AI agent Dot failed to respond during its first live demo prompting the presenter to say “I guess Dot’s having a slow morning.”
I just added to my $META position.
Wow, OpenAI making dots the $META Muse competitor only available to Pro plans not Plus, Go or Free and looking at the features it doesn’t look anything better than Muse.
$META really has the road open now to take the consumer AI agent market.
