Connecting young people to digital networks serves no purpose if they remain disconnected from themselves, others, and their own interiority. We must help young people rediscover silence, reflection, the ability to ask questions, the depth of relationships, and openness to transcendence. To listen to the soul, we must lend an ear, because the soul's voice is not a shout, but a whisper.
@DrJesseMorse@DrJackKruse I think y'all should have an at length discussion. These two could talk on a public podcast for under an hour. Cover perspectives without malice or dogma. I'd love to see you guys chat.
At least talk in truth with humility and charity.
@GrainneMcD92925 Awesome story. I think of Matthew 5:15 "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house." We have responsibility towards others...
@JustAdaugoijele This is a Sacred heart painting with Mary's face put on either by AI or Photoshop. Mary's immaculate heart is represented differently than Jesus's sacred Heart.
@GeneralMCNews I forgot to say, the economic instability forms a cycle of oppression and dependence that ultimately feeds into socialist policy and the exodus of many residents. Puerto rico would explode as a state, becoming a more accesible destination than Hawaii.
@GeneralMCNews Ultimately the opposite needs to happen, statehood and economic opportunities need to open up to attract industry and new residents. It'll be a long haul, but it's already in the works. Towns like Ponce are far from San Juan and attracted many white residents as remote workers.
