@karl_zylinski I never understood the obsession with speed in a code editor (not to be confused with responsiveness). If you're typing code that fast you're not thinking it through carefully enough imo

@TheGingerBill It amazes me that so many tech people have so little imagination that they can't understand that the functionality of a terminal (i.e. composing commands and displaying the output) and the ease-of-use of a more graphical interface aren't mutually exclusive

@valigo On a related note, generally learning how computers work and how to write code for them is much easier going from the transistors upwards than from high-level abstractions downwards
