Destiny 2 fans have released a free browser game that features Bungie's former CEO Pete Parsons as the final boss
Players have to defeat him by pelting him with tomatoes
It’s Bungie Day.
All I can say is to every single artist, composer, programmer, engineer, QA tester, community manager, community leader, coffee guy/girl/person. Thank you for everything. Thank you for having an effect on Destiny. From my beginning in 2014 to now.

We have received reports that a guardian has completed The Vault of Cars boss encounter.
💠Please give us some time to review all the submissions to verify which came first.
The Vault of Cars opens today, free to play for everyone at 10AM PDT via a dedicated website.
💠 Before we go live and you face Pete Carsons and save The Last City, we wanted to share a peak at the title screen.
Note: This experience is not affiliated with or endorsed by Bungie. It is satire only.

It might not be soon, and it might not be for a long time, but I believe we will be back. And when we are, all the chaos we've seen over these past seven weeks will be behind us. We'll stand here united once more.
Until then, we'll be patient. One day. ❤️
I have posted many farewells and shared how I felt about this entire situation. For the past 12 years, @Destiny2Team, all of you who have worked there have given us countless memories—fun stories, sad stories, journeys that inspired us, journeys that made us feel special, epic raids, campaigns, dungeons, missions, patrols, secrets, exotics, loot, and soundtracks that pierce the heart with emotions that simply cannot be replicated.
You gave us unforgettable reveals, helped us forge friendships, sparked rivalries, and so much more. I'm only scratching the surface of what Destiny has meant to so many people around the world. A heartfelt thank you to every talented person who helped bring it all to life, including those who are no longer there.
From the Community Managers who did their best to relay our feedback to the higher-ups and fought to give us what we wanted, to the developers who poured their hearts into creating the magic we all fell in love with—even when their hands were tied at times, they still showed up every day. For us. And to the community that came together to help those in need, just like real Guardians would.
You gave us something truly special, and I have no doubt in my mind that one day we'll return to this universe. Maybe not now, but that day will come. Even after the rainiest days, the sun always rises again.
Thank you, truly, for everything.
Per Audacia Ad Astra. ✨
