The #GreenAcreCottageChickens are having fun today munching on purple sprouting broccoli. They will strip it all bear and eat it all completely. This provides them with hours of hentertainment. It keeps them busy until they complete their challenge!

The #GreenAcreCottageChickens eat healthily. They enjoy freshly harvested vegetables at #GreenAcreCottage .They love tucking into cauliflowers, broccoli, cabbages etc. They enjoy a wonderful, varied diet & it's all organic. We don't use any pesticides or artificial fertilisers.
They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them.

The #GreenAcreCottageChickens love eating the apples that fall on the ground. The apples that have fallen on the ground are desinted for the chickens and Mable here has been helping gather them all up so that she can enjoy them with the rest of the girls. #HappyHens#HenHelper
The hens love exploring all around #GreenAcreCottage. There's lots of magic in the garden, this time of year.Nature is a wonderous thing. It looks very comfy for the fairies living at the bottom of my garden. ๐ง๐งโโ๏ธ๐งโโ๏ธ #HappyHens#GreenAcreCottageHens#TheGoodLife#FreeRangeHens
Hereโs a 15 second break from the normโฆ. one of the hens I adopted from Little Hill Animal Rescue in Kildare recently. She rushes to greet every afternoon when I get home ๐ฅฐ๐ tis good for the heart โฅ๏ธ
I sprinkle a mix I make of oats, garlic, oregano, seaweed, mint, sunflower seeds, barley, wheat, red dari, millet & oyster shell, all around the trees for the #GreenAcreCottageChickens to enjoy. They absolutely love it and make lots of sweet little noises as they go about eating it all.
There has been a definite coolness in the air when I've been opening up the chicken coop in the morning and the evenings are getting shorter. Autumn is arriving here and I am happy because I love this time of year.
