@TeamYouTube my Roblox channel “NJChicky” and my Minecraft channel “ChickyNJ” were affected by this as well. Could you please take another careful look at both cases? I’d really appreciate it.

YouTube's AI Moderation has started demonetizing a lot of Roblox and Minecraft channels.

A bunch of creators in the space got hit overnight. Everyone from large to small creators completely losing all monetization.

Thanks @KreekCraft for highlighting this issue. Both my Minecraft and Roblox channels were also affected by the same “harmful content involving minors” flag. This is something many Minecraft and Roblox creators are currently being demonetized for. It’s been going on for months now, and more and more channels are being hit by YouTube’s automated system.

Please @TeamYouTube , take a serious look into this.

@TeamYouTube My channel was unfairly demonetized last month, and I wasn’t able to appeal because the appeal button wasn’t working. I’ve also only received automatic responses from your website support before.
Many people have gotten their monetization back recently, including creators who make content similar to mine.
I kindly request a manual review of my channel, as I still believe this is a misunderstanding.

@TeamYouTube Our YouTube channels NJChicky and ChickyNJ are our only source of income. Because of this demonetization mistake, our family has lost all earnings. One of our family members is in the hospital, and this income is what helps pay for treatment and daily needs. We did nothing wrong, yet we’re being punished for a misunderstanding. It feels like your system’s error is directly hurting real people’s lives. Please, we urgently ask YouTube to re-review our channel. A simple mistake in your system should not take away someone’s only income when we have followed every rule.

@TeamYouTube Hi YouTube Team, ChickyNJ here. Our channel was demonetized for “Harmful content involving minors,” but this seems to be a mistake. There are no minors in our videos, everyone involved is 18 or older. Some voices might sound young, but they’re adults, and we never try to imitate or include kids in any way. Our videos are just fun, lighthearted gameplay content, similar to what many other gaming creators post.
We’d really appreciate it if you could take another look and re-review our channel. The same issue also happened to our other channel, NjChicky, which we kindly ask to be reviewed as well.

However, we truly believe our case deserves a proper re-review. Our channel was demonetized for “harmful content involving minors,” but there are no minors involved in any of our videos — all participants are 18+, and our content is simply light-hearted gameplay similar to what many other gaming creators post.

It feels like our explanation wasn’t fully considered, and now being told to wait 3 months with no income is extremely discouraging and unfair, especially when this appears to be a clear misunderstanding.

We’ve also uploaded a recent video clarifying that our channel does not contain any harmful content involving minors. If possible, we kindly ask that the YouTube Thailand team review this video and re-evaluate our channel. Here is the link to the video: https://t.co/yk20yB0E9V

We kindly ask YouTube to please escalate or re-review our appeal for both channels (ChickyNJ and NJChicky) to ensure the decision reflects the facts and not an error.

@TeamYouTube Thank you for your reply. Just to clarify, we have sent the appeal with Creator Support(no appeal video) already for both of our channels that got demonetize(ChickyNJ, and NJChicky). Both appeals got rejected by Youtube review. Our channels follow all Youtube program policies and guideline, this is why we would like Youtube to re-review both of our channels carefully again.

So is this now means we can go ahead and send another appeal WITH appeal video uploaded as unlisted ?
