Maybe because I see things differently. But the day mine sent me the breakdown of the fees and expenses, she said “I will handle some too you know”, even though I never expected or demanded for it, cos I never did.

I feel a woman even without being asked should take the initiate and offer to contribute to the family, especially kids responsibilities and if the man now says don’t then you can allow him to shoulder it all. Maybe this person does too, we can’t be sure. But to me, that’s the way a man feels supported and not alone, even if he doesn’t expect or demand you to make any contributions towards these things.

My cousin in the UK has been sponsoring her younger brother’s education since 2024.
