I like what Eric Gugua is doing with Beyond Conversation.

He has used social media to ask young people better questions about identity, money, discipline, belief, power and purpose. Now he is moving those conversations from the timeline into physical rooms.

Port Harcourt hosted an edition last weekend. Owerri and Ghana are next.

That move matters. Valuable ideas should not live only as screenshots and bookmarked threads. People need rooms where they can listen, disagree, ask clumsy questions and meet others doing serious work.

I wish the young man well.

I also hope more young creators follow that path: build trust online, then create useful things people can experience together offline.

The timeline is good. A real room is better.
