The lady in the green dress is the SAME person you’re seeing in the other slides. 💔
Her name is Omowunmi, and she’s only 25 years old.
She got pregnant, and a few months into her pregnancy, a large dark mark suddenly appeared on her back.
At first, everyone thought it was just pregnancy-induced eczema, so it wasn't taken too seriously.
But instead of disappearing, it kept getting WORSE.
Even after she gave birth, her condition continued to deteriorate until she had to be rushed back to the hospital for proper medical attention.
After several tests, Omowunmi was diagnosed with LUPUS — an autoimmune disease in which the immune system mistakenly attacks the body's own tissues.
Sadly, tragedy struck again. 💔
Omowunmi lost her baby at just 1 month and 10 days old.
According to her account, the baby's death was linked to complications associated with lupus.
May the little baby's soul rest in peace. 🕊️
Unfortunately, lupus currently has no cure, but with proper treatment and medical management, its symptoms and complications can often be controlled.
The disease can affect different parts of the body, including the skin, joints, kidneys, heart, lungs and other organs.
“What do women bring to the table?”
Yeah, one is THIS! Because of pregnancy!
🚨🏴 Harry Kane on possible last World Cup: “It's still too early to say. I take it year by year and see how I feel. I love playing for England”.
“But of course, four years is a long time. Then again, you can see someone like Messi still performing at the highest level even at an older age. I honestly don't know”, says via @kerry_hau.
