Today was great for so many reasons but seeing Finn Gannon crush his season best in 32:24 and Ricky Duran in a Career best time of 33:25 was something I will cherish as a coach for a longtime.
I have had Finn as student or athlete for the last six years. Been a joy for me!

On the men’s side David Valkanov wins the Region 4 title in 25:48
He ran last 3 miles in 15:02!!!
Dayton Beatty 6th 28:32 Luis Baez 11th 29:24 all qualifying for Nationals.

Chiefs are headed to the Region 4 meet today. Women at 11:00 Men 12:00 at Lockport East High school hosted by JJC

On the Men’s side David Valkanov get a dominant win on a very long course at 28:23. First college victory for David
Great 5th place run Dayton Beatty and 9th place from Luis Baez. Ricky Finn and Landon all competed very well on the long course. Team finished 2nd overall

Great day for the Chiefs out at Sauk valley.
Women finished 4th as team with some great improvements from last 5K. Meghan Johnson and Anna Green finished 7th and 8th to get some T shirts.
Prs from Leliarosa,Alex, strong races from Crystal and Kit as well.
