@katdadd95937@TheFourthPeriod He had 49 points in 82 games last year and was over 60% on the dot.
Faceoffs are critical, especially in the playoffs. He brings experience and a very important skill back to Philly. I actually think it’s a very solid move. At the right price, of course.
@jprutherford Lawrence is getting a lot of criticism, but I do believe it’s a sneaky good pick. Excellent two way player and a great skater. He’s only 17. Tons of room to grow. And he’s under Pandolfo at BU. They develop solid players.
@Lmstieb962003@JustinScottx89@BluesReactor Only 1st rounder I’d even consider is the 29th pick. And even then, McTavish doesn’t move the needle much for me. His play is VERY inconsistent.
@georgeofman My argument would be… adding Byram doesn’t push them into a contender position and you could draft a high end defenseman at 4th overall that’ll be impactful in 2-3 years anyways.
@ThomasWalterMc@DailyFaceoff@atrud00 He had close to 500 games wearing the A & C combined, so he’s been part of the leadership group for quite a while. The article should have definitely worded it differently, though, to encapsulate his tenure in a leadership role instead of just the captaincy.
