🚨 WATCH: A man displaying the Union Flag at the summit of Mount Snowdon was confronted by a woman who challenged him over the flag.

Footage shared by Raise the Colours shows Ryan holding the flag after completing his climb before the woman approaches and questions him.

The exchange has sparked discussion online about patriotism and the display of British national symbols.

MI5 WARNS TERROR THREAT IS SEVERE

MI5 chief Sir Ken McCallum said today the UK terrorism threat level is back at severe for the first time in almost five years, meaning an attack is highly likely. He said Islamic State and al-Qaeda still direct and inspire attacks, MI5 is still responding to attempted mass-casualty plots in the UK, and terrorists have been caught trying to use AI and drones to plan attacks.

MI5 now says its terrorism and state-threat work are of equal scale. Ministers should fund it to match and treat Islamist extremism with the seriousness this warning demands.
