One sentence changed how i think about CVs
A professional CV writer once said:
“Never manufacture experience. Create opportunities to demonstrate skills.”
That applies beyond CVs.
If you don’t have proof, build it.
Projects.
Volunteering.
Case studies.
Practice work.
Experience isn’t always found.
Sometimes it’s created.
One of the biggest misconceptions among beginners is that experience only counts if someone paid you for it.
It doesn’t.
If you’re an aspiring social media manager, create a content strategy for a fictional brand.
If you want to become an email marketer, build a welcome sequence or newsletter.
If you’re learning copywriting, rewrite existing landing pages and explain your decisions.
Those projects are real evidence of your skills.
Recruiters aren’t just looking for experience.
They’re looking for proof that you can do the work.
A strong portfolio often does that better than a long list of certificates.
Don’t wait for someone to give you experience.
Create it, document it, and let your work speak for itself.
I came to the beach thinking I'd relax.
Instead, I'm watching three different movies at once.
Children are chasing waves like they're collecting trophies.
Someone is taking their 97th photo trying to look "natural."
A group is laughing so hard they don't even know what started it. The yachts keep gliding by as if they're allergic to stress.
The ocean doesn't care who has money, followers,
deadlines,
or heartbreak. It keeps showing up on time.
