Executive Director Society First Infantry Division, former Mayor Junction City Kansas. Retired US Army Chief Warrant Officer 3. Masters Degree Administration.
For something different on X. I tried the ChatGPT Christmas image. I uploaded a current picture of me and a beautiful picture was created. I can see me in the face.
Desert Storm with the 1st Infantry Division. My husband also deployed with the 1st Infantry Division. (Dual Military Family). We left our 2 year old and our kindergartener with family. Grateful we made it home to them.
Looking for a Chiefs 3-Peat win. Today I left a couple football themed quilted hearts on the Natchez Trace. Hope the heart brings a smile to the finders and the Chiefs get the 3-peat Super Bowl win. .
Bringing smiles one quilted heart at a time. I leave these hearts that I make in my travels and community. I started this act April 2024 w/ a quilter friend and together we’ve left over 600 hearts.
Sharing a few more pictures of where I have left hearts. I leave them at stores, places to eat, hospitals, airplanes, trails and other places. My friend Montika and I have probably made and left over 400 hearts collectively.
For several months I have been making quilted hearts. Wherever I go/travel I leave hearts for others to find in the hopes that the quilted heart will make someone’s day and bring a smile to them. My favorite place to leave them is on the Natchez Trace.
It’s sad when you relocate from a place you’ve live for over 20 years. I was a part of a wonderful community and was very involved w/volunteerism and had lots of friends. Since leaving I rarely hear from anyone, unless I make the effort.
I put the finishing shine and heart on these two wood barn quilts this evening. Hope you like them. I donate them each month to raise money for scholarships for graduating JCHS Seniors whom are military dependents.
Happy Anniversary- 40 yrs today. Met & married when we were both stationed in Berlin. From day 1 we’ve been many places; from the Desert sands of Iraq-Desert Storm w/1st ID to retirement Ft Leavenworth. We raised 2 kids during our Army career. Together we have each other.
On behalf of the Society of the First Infantry Division, and the 631 Gold Star Families, THANK YOU in advance for your Go Fund Me donation. Our goal is to have the names added to the Monument by April 2024
