@teja_dash@ConcernsChief This issue isn’t always lack of talent. You gotta develop it and use it in ways that highlight strengths. (Think DJ under Haley) We have seen both WRs perform at a pretty solid level in this league. It could be on the players…but also on the staff and scheme.
@eskiflo1@dirt_tard@TrumanChief I see. I guess I still presume teams have needs. If they have a player they know will be available later, why not give yourself more capital to try and find some additional hits. Each draft still will have pockets of talent, no point in overdrafting guys nonetheless.
@dirt_tard@TrumanChief It would seem that the lack of talent is confirmed by being willing to trade up only using current 2026 draft assets? Fill me in on the logic, open to understanding.
@Matty_KCSN Hopefully O’Shea can get our guys refined as individuals to win in the margins on the way to the right space vs focus on just getting to the right space on the field. It feels like the latter has been the reality.
@MitchSchwartz71 On DL, I learned it as #3 . 1 was the appropriate term for being shaded on the C, we called it shade too tho. Shade denoted being on a shoulder vs head up, and that went for any of the OL. So a 3 tech was “outside shade of the guard”. 5 tech was shade on the T. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@DHforHOF@SleeperSeahawks@gbellseattle He is a chief now, so not trying to seem biased. But I remember a couple times where he seemed to be the catalyst that ripped off consistent big chunks. Would get you guys near the goalline himself, to get subbed out once inside the 5 or 10. I could be wrong…
@RealMNchiefsfan The power he displays keeps him from getting sealed. Love seeing him press through and gain ground. Thats how a grown man recovers when an OL tries to cross face.
@priceacarter It’s also overshadowed that he has almost a 6’6 wingspan so who is to say that his arm measurement was accurate anyways. He is a powerhouse. Compact edge rushers can win with power/speed/technique. Aaron Donald has an almost identical wingspan. He will be a solid pro.
@LanceTHESPOKEN I’m not disappointed at all. He played most of a season with limited ability to extend his arm above his head. Very limited ROM
He will be a threat when healthy.
