@McConalogue@DarraghOBrienTD@PaddyDiver4 Even Mary, Joseph and the wee donkey were given a safe place to stay over 2000 years ago, but this Gov is unable to do it now.
⚠️ PROTEST CANCELLED ⚠️
Apologies folks but this is obviously out of my control given the circumstances but they can't stay closed every day, so protest has been rearranged for tomorrow, same time, same place
G'luck 👍
@BrendaJ42539797@McConalogue@DarraghOBrienTD Precident for this type of action has been set. This has been done in Ireland before during the foot and mouth crisis. All beef factories were closed until they could all prove the product being produced was safe and fit for purpose.
What a morning.. Managed to get 20 mins with @DonnellyStephen to tell him how LUH DONEGAL needs Cancer Care Facility upgraded & how beneficial this would be to patients & county.
Thank you for your time

#TonightVMTV@EOBroin@DarraghOBrienTD When will Donegal Co Council be releasing decisions on applications made to the mica 90/10 scheme. We're at stage 1 of the scheme for a full year now. DCC refuse to release the decision on our application, even though it's full demolition.
To DCC you might forgive me if I'm not in a very celebratory mood. DCC have been aware for a year now that my engineer recommended demolition, so where do we all stand when it eventually starts to collapse, who'll be responsible????? The homeowners as usual. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Climate Minister @EamonRyan is launching the second phase of the “reduce your use” campaign ahead of the winter.
He says the campaign will have a “simple message” that “using less saves you money”
Gov say the 10% levy will raise 80million pa. Thats a lot more tax raised in the first year than the total current spend on rebuilding homes since the mica scheme was first introduced.
Oh and will this tax end when the mica scheme ends??? Wouldn't think so.
@ProfPaulDunlop@LeoVaradkar@FineGael So private business invests in the region because of the pool of talented and skilled people, but when the same talented and skilled people like professor Paul Dunlop in the same region advise the Gov, we're all ignored. Big dose of hypocrisy in that @McConalogue
