@ZimFirstLady The Harare City Council should see some resignations from high offices before a flurry of court action arrives at their door. Avoiding such honorable exit will invite citizen action to empty the offices of such unwanted city fathers.

President @edmnangagwa will forever be remembered as a technically oriented administrator and a vigorous upholder of gender mainstreaming.
Our justice and legal system is a typical case. It’s particularly clear that women’s empowerment is a top priority in the Second Republic and is a major cause for celebration.
Today the President appointed Hon. Elizabeth Gwaunza as the country’s first female Chief Justice. Not forgetting that Virginia Mabhiza is also the country’s first Attorney-General, and Justice Loice Matanda-Moyo is also the first woman to be appointed as the Prosecutor-General in Zimbabwe.
This is a big inspiration, especially to us young women in law. It fuels our zeal and energy to keep working hard. Who knows? Maybe Cde Hazel Gondo might be the future Minister of Justice, kkkkkkkk.
Congratulations to Honourable Mrs Justice Elizabeth Gwaunza on your well-deserved appointment as the Chief Justice of the Republic of Zimbabwe. Your years of distinguished service, dedication to justice, and commitment to upholding the Constitution have earned you this historic responsibility.
Wishing you wisdom, strength, and success as you lead the judiciary and continue serving the nation with integrity and excellence. Congratulations once again on this remarkable achievement.

Today, I held a highly productive meeting with the UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator, Edward Kallon, to unlock and operationalize the USD 50 million pledge made during the launch of the National Youth Empowerment Strategy (2026–2030) by His Excellency, President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
I am pleased to announce that following our engagement, UN agencies are now proposing to increase the support package to up to USD 80 million over the next four years a major breakthrough for youth empowerment in Zimbabwe.
This is a strong vote of confidence in the vision of His Excellency and in the potential of Zimbabwe’s young people. The partnership with the United Nations continues to drive tangible progress in Skills Development, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Economic Inclusion.
We are moving from commitments to implementation, and from strategy to real opportunities that will transform the lives of young people across the country.

With cutting-edge infrastructure now in place, patients gain access to better care, and medical teams get the dignified, efficient environment they deserve.
Zimbabwe will return 67 farms seized from foreigners from four European countries covered by bilateral investment pacts, the country's agriculture minister said, as it seeks to mend ties with Western countries while it battles for debt relief. https://t.co/2JTapoUTek
Legal heavyweight and public intellectual @ChinamasaPA with over 40 years of experience in the legal profession (as a legal practitioner, Attorney General, public servant, Minister of Justice, etc) who also serves as the ZANU PF Treasurer-General shed more light on the Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3.
He made it clear that there is no need for a referendum because this bill does not seek to amend the Bill of Rights, Chapter 16, and Section 328 of the Constitution.
This implies that conducting a referendum would actually transgress the intrinsic provisions of the Constitution.
As such, this bill must simply be adopted by a 2/3 majority by Parliament.
When fine, intellectual heavyweights and outstanding lawyers like Cde Chinamasa speak, we must listen attentively.
@NkoreWoman Although I have no qualms about one's tribal identity I feel that in Africa we must pause tribal tags for a while so we identify as one first. We have been divided to bloody extents by our colonizers using the tribal card as if they do not have tribes where they come from.
