Feeling very blessed to be able to support some of our families in this way. A school is not just about education it's about families and our communities.
Today I went to Westons food bank for the first time. Not for me for a family I work with. The volunteers are just incredible. I am so pleased that the food bank is the @_TPLT_ charity of the year. I left the family feeling humbled and so glad we can help support our families.
Wishing my wonderful year 11 students the very best of luck in their Child Development exam today!
Remember YOU have the knowledge and RTFQ x 3 before you answer a question!

A fantastic options evening @WorleCSA tonight.
The Child Development Students did me proud talking about this awesome subject and then explaining about our new offering of health and social care!
One of the huge advantages of being a mum at the school I teach in is when you see your child's friends' hidden talents! A year 7 student drew a picture of my child's dog from memory! Incredible work, T!!! @Picardo_deSousa@hilary_withers@WcsaArt@MrGMorrison @mrsZHancox
Looking forward to seeing all of our wonderful year 9's tomorrow evening!
Also incredibly pleased to be offering an additional GCSE this year! Child Development and for the first time in @WorleCSA history, Health & Social Care @hilary_withers @mrsZHancox @MrsRBrace@MrGMorrison
Today, I was reminded of why I love to teach! One of my former more challenging students gatecrashed her little sisters parents' eve slot to see me! Mum then explained 4 years on, and my lessons and I are frequently discussed. We DO make a difference every single day! @WorleCSA
Breakfast club is growing ...... today included Pontoon and Uno.
Love the fact that students ranging from Year 7-11 are actively looking for me in the morning to play!
