@childrensociety working alongside young people, building a society for all children
Finally some of the young influencers are beyond the gates of Downing Street handing in our petition calling for a national wellbeing measurement! This is all about putting young People and their wellbeing at the centre so it’s only right they are the ones to hand it in to no10
We are in London today with our Young influencers from @Oasis_UK for something very exciting later today! Spending the morning prepping and creating! More to come… 👀
Very excited to be outside Parliament calling on the Government to implement a national wellbeing measure for young people! We measure grades and attendance yet not their wellbeing.

We had a great few days with young people from across the Children’s Charities coalition. We’ve explored their skills, what connects them and planned what they want to tell decision makers at Party Conference later this year! Excited to see how plans develop in the coming weeks.
It's the 25th anniversary of the #YoungCarersFestival- the largest festival in the world for young people with caring responsibilities - organised with @YMCAFG.

We’re buzzing from an incredible day at the #LondonMarathon.
85 superstars ran the iconic 26.2 mile course in support of The Children’s Society – an amazing achievement!
Thank you so much for all the hard work and dedication to the hope and happiness of young people 🧡💫
A privilege for us @childrensociety to work with an inspiring group of young people from @Oasis_UK Academy in Southampton, and hear them share their stories about the impact of poverty with a group of MPs.
We need the government child poverty strategy to deliver real change
Yesterday, we hosted an event in Parliament with
@OasisLordshill@Oasis_UK
to present our report: A Chance at Childhood.
Oasis students shared their insights and recommendations for the report, to our government. Voicing how we must end child poverty, together.📢
Incredibly proud today! Huge well done to our fantastic students from Oasis Academy Lord’s Hill for sharing the experiences and concerns of young people as part of the Children's Society important report. 👏 #StudentVoice#ChildPoverty#CostOfLiving#proud#kind#determined
Such a great day in Parliament launching a new report and supporting these incredible young people who we have been working with over the last 6 months. Not only did they inform the report, they spoke so powerfully today about the impact that child poverty has on young people!
We’re in parliament today with some of our @OasisAcademies students. This afternoon, they will sharing their insights as part of a joint report published by @childrensociety offering recommendations for the Government’s child poverty strategy. #NOLO
Nearly 40,000 children experienced a wait of 2 years+ for support. Hannah could run around the world 5x in that time.
In the second episode following Hannah’s journey to the #LondonMarathon, she visits Time for young people in Newham - our emotional wellbeing support space⭐️
Teenagers are facing a complex mix of challenges, pushing their wellbeing to a concerning low.
Aged 19, Hannah has advocated for more safe spaces for teenagers to get support since 2021.
Now, she’s taking her support a step further by running the #LondonMarathon
It was a pleasure to be part of the Anti-bullying roundtable at @educationgovuk today. It was great to be able to give young people from @OasisSholing@HubEastSoton the opportunity to share their views with the department, alongside young people from other organisations/schools.

We have loved working on this campaign with young people at the centre. The impact report highlights just how much was achieved for and with young people, as well as everything we are still striving for going forward! The campaign may have come to an end, but the work continues!
#ChildrenAtTheTable with @barnardos, @NSPCC, @actnforchildren, and @ncbtweets had one goal: To give young people a seat at the table of decision-making. One young person spoke about the importance of involving young people in key decisions 👇

Very welcome news that Govt respects #youthvoice leaders as equal stakeholders in their own right. Will be supporting @DCMS to be inclusive of a wide range of representation. #EveryYoungVoiceMatters
