Today, on the 80th anniversary of D-Day, we remember the heroes who stormed the beaches of Normandy in 1944, turning the tide of World War II. Their courage, determination, and sacrifice shaped history. Let us never forget our debt to them.

Due to current heavy wind and rain predictions for our area, Burke County Schools will operate on a Remote Learning Day for tomorrow, Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
Our concern is the safety of our students and staff. High winds and flooding will make road conditions dangerous.
