Today I launch my landmark dataset: The Childhood Lottery.📍
Children feel it's harder to grow up in some places than others. Now I've brought together the evidence showing what a child’s experience is like in every postcode.

I was pleased to contribute to the Bell review. School is where children should feel safest. But I was shocked by the abuse and antisemitism faced by Jewish children. The recommendations must lead to better protection for children and more support for teachers.
Antisemitism has no place in our schools, colleges or society.
We accept all 27 recommendations from Sir David Bell’s review. We will equip schools and colleges to identify and challenge antisemitism, strengthen Holocaust education and help every young person learn in safety.
The journey home from the hospital after being born is the most important one a child will make.📍

.@Rachel_deSouza 'We need to put children at the centre of devolution and ensure every area is held to account for children's outcomes.'

I’ve launched my landmark dataset: The Childhood Lottery.
Huge thanks to my panel - Minister @Georgia_Gould; Prof Peter Fonagy; AC Laurence Taylor, Met; Tim Bowman, GMCA; Joanne McCartney, Dep Mayor London.
The stars were my Youth Ambassadors who expertly grilled the panel.
@Rachel_deSouza Tim Bowman: In some ways, lost our focus on delivering for every child. Need to look at children’s issues and how we can better support children’s experiences. Devolution offers the chance to look at how we support workforce to deliver for children.
📍The launch event of my report 'The Childhood Lottery' begins shortly this afternoon, joined by my fantastic guest speakers.

@Rachel_deSouza Georgia Gould: The Child Lottery exposes how infrastructure around children and families has been cut back. Gov working to help young people thrive across the board. Young people tell me they want decisions taken closer to home by local leaders, so services respond to challenges.
