“Don’t make a big deal out of 1 Raja Raghuvanshi case.”
—That’s what most feminists are saying online.
But when even one rape or dowry case happens, it’s treated (rightfully) as a national issue.
So why the double standards?
It’s not man vs. woman.
It’s mindset vs. society.
Thousands of men are suffering silently—falsely accused, harassed, even driven to death.
This didn’t exist at this scale 20 years ago.
It’s a trust pandemic. A social virus.
Gold-digger mindset is as dangerous as dowry or rape culture.
Don’t defend the gender.
Call out the behaviour.

PM CARES — But Not for All?
Govt gives free UPSC coaching, ₹4K monthly, ₹15K incentive, & free hostels, all funded by PM CARES, a fund built by donations from all Indians.
Yet, General Category students are excluded even if orphaned or poor.
This isn't care. It's caste-based exclusion.
Cash worth ₹2.51 crores, two multi-storeyed buildings, two flats, seven posh plots, and shares worth crores, some of the assets unearthed by Vigilance Dept from the house of BaikunthaNath Sarangi, Chief Engineer, Odisha Rural Works.
Now you know why roads crumble so quickly, why bridges collapse, and why there are no drains along the sides of the streets. If one man is hoarding this much, imagine the mess from bottom to top. I’m sure half of every project cost goes just into bribes.
Imagine someone in the private earning ₹2 lakhs a month. Sounds like a good salary, right? That’s ₹24 lpa.
He pays around ₹4 lakhs in ITR, plus indirect taxes on everything he buys. Add EMIs, rent, bills, and daily expenses, how much can he realistically save? Maybe ₹3–6 lakhs a year. To save ₹2 crores, he’d need to work for 20–30 years.
Now consider this: ₹2 crores, that’s the bribe an IRS officer demanded from a business to settle just one case. One case. What could be a person’s lifetime savings is another man’s bribe from just one case! Imagine what he’ll accumulate over a lifetime if not caught. Multiply that by lakhs of govt employees, bureaucrats, politicians, judges. Not saying all are corrupt, but even if 20% are, the scale of money hoarded is unimaginable.
And yet, somehow, India continues to move forward. How we’re progressing despite this deeply institutionalised corruption is nothing short of a miracle.

Bhagwan Ram was committed to Sita Ma and hence could not satisfy his “hormones”. So he took rebirth as Bhagwan Krishna - @ArshadWarsi, Urduwood addicts’ beloved Circuit
Can he comment on hormonal urges of Messengers of his religion in this manner?
Superbly articulated by Priyanka Joshi.
"The world doesn’t know what to do with India.
We don’t fit their neat little boxes. We’re not white.
We’re not monotheistic.
We’re not ex-colonizers or submissive ex-colonized.
We are something they can’t decode.
We are too many things at once—ancient and modern, spiritual and scientific, emotional and logical.
We believe in gods and particles, karma and quantum.
We’re chaos that somehow moves forward.
That bothers them.
Because we aren’t supposed to succeed.
We don’t speak with one voice. We speak in thousands.
Our system isn’t clean. It’s noisy. It debates. It screams. But it works—because we’ve lived through worse and survived.
When we rise, they frown.
When we achieve, they doubt.
Because they still see us the way they chose to see us long ago—untrained, uncouth, and scattered.
But we’ve always known how to turn our mess into movement.
They don’t get that a billion people don’t need a single script.
They fear our success because it didn’t come from their textbooks, their aid, or their approval.
We remember being ruled, but we were never truly conquered.
We adapted, absorbed, transformed—but never disappeared.
And that is unsettling for those who thought we would.
India rising doesn’t fit their world order.
Because we didn’t wait for permission.
We didn’t rise from imitation—we rose from memory, from contradiction, from sheer force of will.
And that’s why they don’t celebrate our rise.
They resist it.
Because it wasn’t supposed to happen.”
I used to watch this serial not long ago on Netflix just to pick up Urdu words. I would watch all the episodes and write down all the new words as I heard and then would revise them.
I can't believe the level of propaganda seriously. Nothing here is history except the names of the major characters. In the first few episodes, one sees Razia going on a secret solo trip from Delhi to Registan (now in Uzbekistan) to arrange a gift for her father. And then we see her arguing and convincing her father Altamash that a woman's testimony is not half to a man's. Then, as usual, the Sultan Altamash loves Hindus and is friendly with Rajputs and is secular. We also see the usual displays of Ganga Jamuni Tehzib, Hindu-Muslim bhai bhai, Razia going to a Hindu temple shrine to pray for a relative to heal, abolishing Jazia, fighting for the rights of slaves, going on solo adventures to distant lands, Islam being feminist, and so on.
I thought this was a Pakistani TV series, but today, by chance, I found out that it is Indian TV series. Turns out the narrator was Shah Rukh Khan.
