@ShuriBear Yours is the first speedrunning tutorial I saw that used the "demonstrate full speed, then break down and explain" format. I first saw this in guitar instructional videos years ago. Works great for speedrunning, too. Great work.

A 100% playthrough of Secret of Mana on the SNES starts this Sunday at 9pm EST. This is my favorite game of all time and it’s been long overdue for a playthrough. There’s so many good memories tied to this game and am excited to live through them all again. #snes #retro

@Plunge87 Not sure how to cast my vote yet. 😄 I think the Genesis is the more interesting system, and it'd be fun to see how @Plunge87 does with the Genesis versions of the SNES shuffler. But it'd also be fun to see lots of unknown-to-me N64 titles.

@Plunge87 @PeebsSNES I can let them play during boring times, or snooze them, but you're right, it's not so easy to manage the mid-rolls. That's a secondary concern for me, though. I'm very sure the mid-roll ads will drive away viewers, to earn a tiny amount of revenue (at my size).

@PeebsSNES Doing the quick math on ads made it obvious. For my small channel, ad revenue is trivial. The only choice that makes sense is to minimize ads and focus on creating the best content I can. Subs/bits/donations are a good deal for both viewer and streamer.

@PeebsSNES Got it. I tried mid-roll the past 2 weeks. I'm about to turn it off. I'm sure growth for my small channel will be slower with mid-roll. Would I rather keep momentum, or reward everyone that's helped me build the channel with hourly ads so I can get $2/month?

@rooslugs I do that, too, but I can't figure out how to stop it from showing notification numbers next to the server. I don't like notifications in general. I prefer to go get info when I'm ready rather than have it pushed to me.

@PeebsSNES How do you run 0 ads? I didn't think affiliates could get around Twitch running ads on our channels, and are options are 1) have pre-roll ads 2) enable mid-roll ads enough to disable pre-roll ads temporarily.
