C.lanceolatum has been flowering under lots of layers of fleece all winter, who says ๐ถ๏ธ need lots of warmth and heat ๐ Protection from rain as itโs under glass, no air heating, only gentle bottom warmth from a heated tray.
@DurandA23 Yes, typically the Purple Corolla clade is the easiest to cross with C.pubescens. That covers C.cardenasii, C.eximium and C.eshbaughii species.
Attempted introduction of C.eximium wild Capsicum into a heatless C.baccatum var. pendulum cultivar. F1 seedling looking good so far for a valid cross.
C.galapagoense, one of my favourite wild Capsicum species, emerging after 28 days and from my older seed stock. Iโd take that speed even with fresher seeds!
This guy literally shows you how to post only photos of peppers.
I quit my $350k/yr job to research how to do this and hereโs what I learned.
1. Donโt subscribe to any SaaS or AI services
2. Plant seeds
3. Let them grow
4. Take photos
5. Post photos

Hopefully three Capsicum species cross showing plenty of wild trichomes. One of my own C.baccatum var. pendulum lines crossed previously with C.tovarii and now combined with C.eximium. Flowers will be needed to confirm.

My F2 runner bean population seems to be producing six color classes. I still have many pods left to process as they dry before I can estimate the ratios of the different seed colors needed to estimate the genetics ratios.
