पटना विश्वविद्यालय छात्र संघ अध्यक्ष शांतनु शेखर (NSUI) की देर रात गिरफ्तारी और पुलिसिया प्रताड़ना बेहद चिंताजनक है।

यदि पुलिस ने उन्हें गिरफ्तार किया है, तो अब तक विधिसम्मत कानूनी प्रक्रिया पूरी कर न्यायालय में प्रस्तुत क्यों नहीं किया गया? थाने-थाने घुमाना और मारपीट करना कानून के राज पर गंभीर सवाल खड़े करते हैं।

लोकतंत्र में छात्रों की आवाज़ को दबाने का हर प्रयास अस्वीकार्य है।

हम पटना पुलिस की इस कार्रवाई की कड़ी निंदा करते हैं और मांग करते हैं कि कानून सम्मत प्रक्रिया का पालन करते हुए शांतनु शेखर को तत्काल रिहा किया जाए।
