This #InternationalNursesDay we are celebrating nurses like Beccy, from @TauntonMWC who works as a Stroke Nurse Practitioner. To keep spirits up they have a board dedicated to writing quotes to help them through. Beccy has written the chorus of ‘Together We Are Stronger’!
Our choir member Sarah works at an inner-city primary school which operates a food bank, and the wonderful @BristolMWC has been supporting her by regularly leaving bags of food and high demand items! We are so proud of all the work you do, thank you. #StrongerTogetherApart
Like many of our choirs @TauntonMWC has a lot of NHS workers, choir member Sarah, says: “It’s been lovely to support each other through a tough few weeks and managing to continue our choir rehearsals online has been great to help us de-stress and forget our worries for an hour!”
75 years ago, millions of people took to the streets to celebrate peace and share hope for the future. Today we celebrate again, in memory of those who gave so much to ensure we enjoy the freedoms we have today. Thank you! 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧
