We were getting ready for a polo game with my toddler. I was doing her hair while she watched cartoons on her tablet. Then she switched it to the front camera to see what I was doing.

A few minutes later, I heard the shutter sound. She had taken a really nice picture. Then she tried adjusting the tablet, maybe to position it properly so she could take another one.

It was such an emotional moment for me because it was the first time she had done something like that on her own, especially at her age. I immediately brought out my own phone, and we spent the next few minutes taking lots of pictures and videos together.

Anyway, it’s nice being a girl dad.
