@tosinolaseinde I guess God saw how much I wanted it. The next year I got the scholarship but this time was nominated by FAWE (no interview just assessment of my application) and other international scholarships. Sometimes your destiny lies on how much you want it to. Persevere!!
@tosinolaseinde lol not sure what this. I entered a night bus at 8pm from Abuja to Warri after my Commonwealth Masters Scholarship interview by FSB, I needed to resume by pharmacy job and worked 9 am to 9pm the next days. I still didn’t get the award 😊.
@PSMichael5 @iamSwaga22 I don’t think it affects PhD students. PhD post graduate is 3 years, masters 2 years. Unless they are saying everyone is now 18months.
@ChimamakaJ @MadukaChidera3 @iyioladunjoye Yeahhhhh! Maybe this would help him make some research and understand that this is in no way a rich people thing.
Some scholarship bodies won't even consider you if you're rich, cos they're strictly need-based
@MadukaChidera3 @iyioladunjoye@gbemilekeo_ No I had NO FINACIAL LEVERAGE. I just had to prove that I am an exceptional student and professional that’s all. We are talking about thousands of pounds &dollars, nobody is going to hand such money to you if you can’t prove that you are worth it. It does not assess your finance
@gbemilekeo_ @MadukaChidera3 @iyioladunjoye Sis you have said it all. Very wrong mindset, it’s unfortunate that many Nigerians think like that. Normally I wouldn’t reply the tweet, I needed to respond so that some who are willing to make their research can know that anything is possible and some things are not for the rich
@MadukaChidera3 @iyioladunjoye@gbemilekeo_ You can kindly prove this claims with fact, otherwise you are just making things up !!. Have a nice day lol. I can also talk about a lot of undergraduate scholarships that are fully funded scholarships and no it’s not for the rich 🙂.
@MadukaChidera3 @iyioladunjoye@gbemilekeo_ Most scholarship actually cover your flight fees, you don’t need proof of Fund, it covers your rent. As a fully funded scholarship you don’t need to work because most times you are “WELL TAKEN CARE OF”. As a matter of fact, for UK for example, I know commonwealth gives London pay
@MadukaChidera3 @iyioladunjoye@gbemilekeo_ Nobody is downplaying. My response is on your statement that scholarships favors the rich. I am replying this so that not just only you , others Who can see this can be informed. Now depending on the scholarship, some you don’t need to pay for application fees. Most scholarship
@MadukaChidera3 @iyioladunjoye@gbemilekeo_ 2years MSc from one of the best schools in Sweden funded by Swedish Institute Scholarship. Another 1 year MSc from one of the best schools in UK funded by PTDF. Currently doing my PhD in one of the best schools in UK funded by UKRI. All fully funded with stipends.
@MadukaChidera3 @iyioladunjoye@gbemilekeo_ Actually anyone can apply for a fully funded scholarship. When a scholarship is fully funded it means that tour tuition is fully paid and stipends well enough to take care of you. Secondly you must not be rich to get it. For context I have a double masters degree ; 2years masters
@FeranmiFerary I tap into your testimony. Struggling with keeping up with school work. This phase shall pass in Jesus name Amen🙏🏾 and it will be “fire” for me 🙂. Congratulations Feranmi
