KEEP YOUR WINS QUIET UNTIL THEY CAN’T BE ARGUED WITH 👏🔥
There’s a strange trap that ambitious people fall into. They announce every plan before it’s built. Every intention becomes a public performance instead of private discipline. But real growth doesn’t need an audience to validate it. Announcing your goals gives your brain a false sense of accomplishment, dopamine without the work, and it opens the door for people to attach themselves to your dream just to use it against you later.
Evil people and there are more of them close to you than you think, feed on visibility. They don’t need to know your next move to hate you. They need only sense that you’re rising. Spiritually, envy is one of the oldest forces working against destiny. It doesn’t always come loud or obvious. Sometimes it smiles, claps, and calls itself support while quietly hoping for your downfall. That’s the nature of a corrupted spirit. It cannot celebrate what it did not create, and it cannot rest until what threatens its comfort is diminished.
So build in silence. Let your results speak the language envy cannot manipulate. When the win finally shows up, it won’t need defending. It will already be undeniable.
Stay safe 🙏🏾
You are just one health challenge away from discovering how broke and disadvantaged you are and realizing how much of your life the government has stolen away from you.
YOU ARE YOUR GREATEST PROJECT.🔥🦅
The most important thing you will ever build is not your career, your business, your home, or even your bank account. It is yourself.
Work on your mindset. Work on your emotional maturity. Learn to keep showing up even when nobody is watching. Put in the quiet, consistent effort required to become someone you can genuinely be proud of.
We often spend so much time creating a life that looks impressive from the outside, forgetting that the most important transformation happens within us.
It happens in the decisions you make when nobody is there to applaud you. In the beliefs you are willing to question. In the habits you choose when taking the easier path would be more comfortable.
Personal growth has no finish line. There will always be another level of self-awareness to develop, stronger boundaries to establish, better questions to ask, and greater clarity about the person you want to become.
And perhaps the greatest reward for investing in yourself is not the money you make, the recognition you receive, or the things you acquire.
It is the person you become along the way.
Be guided.
If I could go back to when I was maybe 25 or 30... This is the advice I'd give myself because I see the leaks in my world today and hope someone learns from it.
1. STAY.
Stay when nobody is clapping.
Stay when the idea stops being sexy.
Stay during boring operational years.
Stay long enough to develop managers.
Stay long enough to build systems.
Stay long enough for compound effects to appear.
And when something truly is dead:
end it completely.
Don’t keep dead projects on emotional life support.
2. Don't be like me... I divided my money, attention, emotional energy, time, and leadership across too many futures... and none of them received enough concentrated force for long enough.
Five promising things can leave you poorer than one or two boring things that compound for ten years.
You might be a man with great ideas and crazy ambitions but:
Let ONE become the main mission. It gets the overwhelming majority of your serious building energy.
ONE may remain secondary only if it is cheap to maintain and doesn’t compete with the first.
Everything else gets one of four words: PAUSE, DELEGATE, SELL, or END.
Choosing one does not mean the others were stupid... It means you finally understand opportunity cost.
Many of you who are just like me do not need another beginning... You need a completion.
Those who know me too well or have worked with me will tell you one truth: “If a project stresses SPIRIT, that project is RIP... It doesn't take him time to raze down the structure and vanish.”
Again, NEVER be like me... You need the stress or you might never amount to anything.
And another important thing, have people in your life who understand you deeply and help you understand that life is not about Jump & Jump but instead it is more about Build, Energy & Patience.
I have the best minds working with me, Yomi, Kale, etc... These people are demonically brilliant... But I can tell you today that I wish they were more brutal with me and took advantage of the grip they have on me rather than focusing on protecting the relationship between us.
I love and appreciate them regardless.
In the last few months, my STRATEGIC PROJECT MANAGEMENT supervisor Sir Jace Subramoney changed my life in ways he might never know.
In him, I saw someone who believed in me and was ready to k!ll me if I ever doubt myself.
Both him and his course made me realize how many years, time, and energy I have wasted.
Build a process another human can execute without calling you... Create something that survives a month without your personal energy.
That is the transition from visionary to builder.
Again, don't be like me, don't be tired of visibility... Put yourself out there and keep yourself out there no matter how much you think you have made.
I know better and I am better.
Have a lovely week.
If you don’t know what’s happening here, it’s Millwall v West Ham tomorrow. Let me do a quick summary on why the police are going to be on their toes tomorrow.
The fixture is one of the fiercest games in English football. It’s an historical rival of pure, undiluted hate.
If you have ever worked in the stadium before as an SIA or a Steward, this is an example of a match they classify as HIGH RISK.
The Dockers Derby.
This is not just a mere derby. It’s a game of hatred😭. The hate has existed for over a century. It didn’t start with football but just workers who worked at the docks.
The crazy thing about this fixture is that these two clubs seldom meet themselves, which makes it very fierce, it’s like a rare time to channel that century of hate. By the way, they’ve only shared 13 seasons together because they’re both usually in different divisions.
Millwall was founded by workers who worked at JT Morton, they supplied ships, and worked at the docks, while West Ham were founded later on by workers who were iron and ship builders, who built bridges, and the likes (West Ham nickname - The Irons). They also worked at the docks, hence, the Dockers Derby.
The rivalry started because they were both competing in the same market/shipyards. This quickly escalated into football games.
Both teams or set of workers hated themselves even more when there was a strike by ship workers in the early 20th century, West Ham fans/ship workers also joined the strike, but the Millwall guys didn’t join. This caused more hate and division.
Both clubs have moved from their original sites, but the derby name from the founding fathers still sticks, THE DOCKERS DERBY.
The met police already anticipate troubles. I’m sure the number of police in London tomorrow will be crazy. In 1976, a Millwall supporter died in this fixture. In a cup game in 2009 at Upton Park, there were stabbings and pitch invasions many times in that game, which is still classified as one of the most disgraceful games in English football.
Don’t forget that Millwall fans are known as the worst fans in England, they call them hooligans, but I think the new-generation fans are changing that narrative, but still embracing their history.
I have attached few links to some videos in the comments, this is for those who just want to spend about an hour plus in learning new things about such fierce rivalry in England. I know many people don’t know much about it because they don’t play against each other often, but trust me, the hatred never changed.
