Architecture/urban planning gives a god-like view on the city, its design, & its people. This allows us to conceptualize projects in systems as opposed to individual projects. The ultimate system design is in nature. Everything is linked in cycles with zero waste. #ourlagos
@Ugoo_steve@instablog9ja I get your point but their condemnation was not solely because he was Nigerian, which you seem to be focused on. The condemnation was also on the absurdity of the situation, it was not all because he was Nigerian.
Nigerian graduate Nnabuike Chisom goes viral after delivering his Master’s graduation speech in fluent Chinese while representing international students at the Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. 🇳🇬🇨🇳👏
@TheAjakeManger@WillieWinehouse So you can't be a Christian and be a good politician?
Do Yemi Osinbajo and Remi Tinubu also speak from both sides of their mouths?
Lol. People are not dirty by by default, they are dirty by the system around them.
I remember when the bin workers went on strike in Birmingham last year. People who you would think were clean and neat, suddenly there was rubbish piled in front of their houses and rats everywhere.
Point of my shalaye, the problem is not the people, it is what the government puts on ground for them. In Lagos only about 11% of waste is collected the proper way, so nearly half of it ends up dumped in the canals and drainages because where else will it go? Then the same drainage blocks and the place floods.
Government will provide what people need first, the right drainage, the right refuse management, and then you enforce the cleanliness. You don’t expect people to fall in line when there is nothing on ground for them to fall in line with.
‘He has done his bit’ — Adeboye defends Tinubu over insecurity
Enoch Adeboye, general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has defended President Bola Tinubu against criticism over insecurity.
Speaking at the US-Nigeria faith heroes award gala organised by the Save Nigeria Group on June 23 in Washington, Adeboye said Tinubu has fulfilled his responsibility by directing the military and should not be expected to fight on the frontlines.

Anambra's present airport has a total of 4 flights a day. 2 inbound and 2 outbound. AirPeace and United Nigeria
As a result of the the very limited passenger traffic about 200 outbound passengers, most stores are empty as there is no economic activity.
What does the governor do to improve passenger traffic?
Work with the ministry of tourism to promote activities to drive traffic to the state? Nope.
Improve roads and create a public transport corridor that will make it convenient for people in other pared of the state and region opt to use the airport for flying in and out of Anambra?
Nope.
Work with the traders of Onitsha and Nnewi and coordinate with the FG to activate a dry port that will see cargo get flown in directly to the state bypassing the inefficiencies of going via Lagos while activating new income source?
Nope.
The brightest idea Prof. C C Olodo has is to spend many billions to construct another one of his shitty projects so he can name the nonsense Solution Airport and it have another one or 2 flights pass through it.
That embarrassment is exhibit number 1 whenever the proponent of "school na scam" mount the debate stage.
What a disgrace!
@CollinsZagaa@Chude_ND1 You don't claim to be any type of king in a land that is not yours, it is not done. If you say it's like a chairman, then call him chairman or any other name not king. Just look at the kind of show the 'eze ndigbo' of Ghana has made of himself.
When I say I am a feminist, I am referring to the belief that women and men should have equal dignity, equal value, and equal opportunities. I am not endorsing every idea that has ever existed under the feminism umbrella, just as being a Christian does not mean endorsing every action or belief that has ever been promoted in the name of Christianity.
Christianity also has extremes, abuses, and harmful expressions. There are people who have abandoned their families, manipulated others, justified oppression, or committed terrible acts while claiming to be Christians. We do not conclude that Christianity itself is therefore toxic.
If the existence of extreme feminists makes feminism invalid, then by the same logic the existence of extreme Christians would make Christianity invalid. I do not think either conclusion is fair.
The question should be: what specific belief are we discussing?
If the belief is that women and men deserve equal opportunities and equal human dignity, I struggle to see how that is destructive or contrary to God's purpose.
My point remains that Christians routinely identify with causes and advocacy movements that fur biblical values. We do not tell climate advocates, anti-trafficking advocates, or disability rights advocates to abandon those labels simply because Christianity teaches related principles.
So why is feminism uniquely treated differently?
