I have no comment on number 1. Katwa Kigen is being greedy, applying for every office that becomes vacant. He is a galloping applicant, a vice inconsistent with the office of a Judge. I do not know who Anne Kiratu and Lilian Wanjiku are. Which Courts have they practiced in? If I, the Last Hope does not know them, so who are they, and who knows them in Court? They cannot be Judges of the Supreme Court. This contest is between Mohammed Warsame and Francis Tuiyott. JSC should toss a coin and forward the name of either of them to the President for appointment. May the day break.

This is an unprecedented SCANDAL.

Katwa Kigen was sworn in as a judge of the Court of Appeal less than 2 weeks ago.

He has not even completed his training at the Judiciary Training Institute.

He has not presided over a single case and has never drafted a judgment, even at the Small Claims Court, yet here he is already listed for the Supreme Court.

Parliament has invited your views on the Turkana Oil FDP that we are considering currently. You should pay attention because this is Ruto’s biggest scandal yet.

1. The ownership of the Company that is to produce the oil (Gulf Energy, Formerly Tullow) changed names and hands multiple times in a matter of weeks. Days even. Your lawyer will tell you thats symptomatic of attempts to mask real ownership. It is telling that the current FDP was approved by government days after the last ownership changes.

2. The Original production contract has been varied a million times. Most notably on 25th November 2025 just days after the last ownership changes, to raise the maximum recoverable cost for petroleum production from the initial 55% to 85%. Kenyans will never see any real benefit from that oil.

3. On the same day Clause 27(2)(b) was amended to expand the definition of capital
expenditure to include expenditure on labour, fuel, repairs, maintenance,
hauling, mobilisation and supplies and materials relating to production,
development, exploration and appraisal and decommissioning costs. We may basically never see a coin from our oil.

4. Crucially, we in the Senate passed the Local Content bill which requires the oil company to utilize locally available resources including labour and supplies. They have cleverly made the current agreement with Gulf exempt from such legislation.

We don’t have leaders. We have dealers in government who don’t care about anything other than themselves.

The only referendum worth a damn is one that slashes this bloated, greedy system to the bone.

1. Hack those useless, corrupt counties down to just 8, end the endless thieving and waste.

2. Slam un unbreakable term limits on every Elected, appointed, connected or sneaked in through the back door in office, so these leeches can’t cling on like parasites forever, draining us dry!

3. Lock borrowing in a chokehold at no more than 20% of the nation’s budget enough with piling up debt to fund your filthy egos and screw the nation!

4. Cap the highest salary for all elected representatives of any government at the cabinet secretary’s level, no more obscene payouts or Per diem for you while the people starve!

5. Reserve “His Excellency” for the president’s title alone, “Hon” for the MPs, governors, senators, women reps, and “County Member” for MCA. No more pompous bullshit titles to feed your delusions!

6. Erase every single name from those sham state commendations HSC, OGW, OGH in Kenya since 1980, wipe the lot, then setup a proper commission to award them on pure merit, not your nepotistic nonsense.

We can’t waste a referendum just to fan the flames of your personal egos.
