“Small businesses can build big bridges between nations.”
China’s economic growth shows the power of entrepreneurs, manufacturing and strong supply chains alongside major national projects.
For the Maldives, the next opportunity is to connect more local SMEs and young entrepreneurs directly with Chinese businesses, technology and markets.
Bilateral cooperation becomes stronger when opportunities reach businesses of every size.
Connect businesses. Create opportunities. Grow together.

“The Maldives has more to offer China than beautiful beaches.”
Our sustainably caught tuna, fisheries products and unique island resources deserve greater access to international markets.
With China's vast consumer market, technology and distribution networks, we have an opportunity to create new export partnerships that directly benefit Maldivian businesses and fishermen.
Let's make Maldives–China trade a two-way opportunity. 🇨🇳🤝🇲🇻

As dusk draws near by the shore, the ocean unfolds its gentle embrace. Here, everyone finds their own rhythm with the sea. The elder pauses to swing with the breeze, child rests upon sun‑warmed rocks and youths chase rolling waves on surfboards and kayaks. No matter your age, there is always a way to meet the ocean. People breathe life into these waters, and the sea in turn gives joy back to everyone.
Good night, Maldives.

“The strongest bridges between nations are not always made of concrete.”
Chinese Ambassador H.E. @China_Amb_Mdv recently highlighted the importance of building an “invisible bridge” between China and the Maldives through technology and knowledge exchange.
Beyond infrastructure, our next chapter should focus on renewable energy, modern fisheries, agriculture, digital innovation and developing Maldivian talent.
From building infrastructure to building capabilities. From friendship to shared prosperity.

Education should build children's futures, not simply generate profits.
China’s education reforms offer an important lesson: while private investment has its place, quality and students must come first.
For the Maldives, parents paying significant fees deserve qualified teachers, proper resources and the education they were promised.
Children first. Education before profits. Future generations above everything.

What should the Maldives seek from China next? Not simply more infrastructure but smarter, greener infrastructure. Solar and battery technology, electric mobility, waste solutions, smart islands and marine protection are areas where Chinese technology and Maldivian needs can meet.
For a country surrounded by water, being sustainable is not just about saving the planet, it's also a way to boost the economy. 🇨🇳🤝🇲🇻 Build green. Build smart. Build for the future. #CMBGA #ChinaMaldives #Sustainability #GreenTechnology #Innovation

Today, China’s most-watched news program, CCTV’s Xinwen Lianbo, featured the Chinese Embassy in Maldives’ National Day & Mid-Autumn Festival Reception during its prime-time broadcast, reaching an audience of more than 1.4 billion viewers in China and many overseas Chinese.
President H.E. Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s warm festive greetings to President Xi Jinping and the Chinese people made this coverage a powerful symbol of the deep friendship between China and the Maldives—and an excellent promotion of the Maldives as a dream destination for Chinese travelers.
During the National Day holiday, many Chinese tourists are choosing the Maldives for their holidays. I am confident that, with the joint efforts of our two governments and peoples, the building of a China-Maldives community with a shared future will continue to advance steadily and prosperously.
