保安局局長鄧炳強發文，煽動市民杯葛抵制立法會換屆選舉的行為或已觸犯《選舉(舞弊及非法行為)條例》，質疑許智峯若認為投白票反制立法會選舉是合法合理，為何不回港進行所謂「抗爭」，反而卑鄙地煽動市民違法，直指許智峯「叫人衝、自己鬆」，行為卑劣。
