يسرني كثيرا بتبادل الآراء مع ممثلي الأحزاب المعنية ومراكز الفكر والصحافيين حول دور الأحزاب السياسية في حكم الدولة وإدارتها بمناسبة الذكرى الـ105 لتأسيس الحزب الشيوعي الصيني.

يلتزم الحزب الشيوعي الصيني بالمبدأ المتسم بالاستقلال والاعتماد على الذات والمساواة الكاملة والاحترام المتبادل بما يعزز التواصلات مع الأحزاب اللبنانية.

يدعم الحزب الشيوعي الصيني الأحزاب اللبنانية في استكشاف مسار يناسب ظروف لبنان وطريقة ذات خصائص لبنانية، كما يؤيدها في بلورة التوافقات الاجتماعية وحشد جهود كل الأطراف، سعيا سويا إلى الحفاظ على سيادة لبنان وأمنه ووحدته، والتمسك بمصير الأمة في يد الشعب اللبناني أنفسهم.

في الأول من تموز، وتزامنًا مع الذكرى الخامسة بعد المئة لتأسيس الحزب الشيوعي الصيني، نشرتُ مقالاً في جريدة النهار، بعنوان "لماذا نجح الحزب الشيوعي الصيني؟"، استعرضتُ فيه التاريخ العريق للحزب الشيوعي الصيني ومفهوم الحوكمة وإدارة شؤون الدولة.

Yesterday, I laid flowers to pay tribute to Dr. Shafick George Hatem (Ma Haide) in his home town Hammana, joined by Minister of Agriculture Nizar Hani, Minister of Tourism Laura Lahoud, Mayor of Hammna Amin Lebbos.

As the first foreigner to acquire Chinese citizenship after the founding of the People’s Republic of China, Dr. Ma Haide devoted his whole life to China’s revolution and public health cause.

His legacy always inspires us to work for the people and deepen friendship between China and Lebanon.

China has decided to deliver more humanitarian aid to Lebanon，FM spokesperson announced on Wednesday.

When asked about media reports that despite the U.S.-Iran agreement calling for an end to the war on all fronts, the attacks against Lebanon are still ongoing, FM spokesperson commented:

China is deeply concerned over the situation between Lebanon and Israel. Lebanon’s sovereignty and security should not be violated.

China hopes relevant parties will let better sense prevail, stick to peace and implement the ceasefire, so that a full and permanent end to hostilities and eventually peace will become possible in the Middle East. #Lebanon #Israel

في خمسينيات القرن الماضي، ارتبط والد نديم القصار وعمّه عدنان القصار بمعرض كانتون، وكانا يُعرفان بـ"أخوي الربيع والخريف"، لتناوبهما السفر في هذين الموسمين. وقد أسهم الأخوان في أن يصبح لبنان من أوائل الدول العربية التي وقّعت اتفاقيات تجارية مع الصين. في عام 2006، مُنح عدنان القصار العضوية الفخرية من المجلس الصيني لتعزيز التجارة الدولية، وفي عام 2016 حصل على جائزة المساهمات البارزة للصداقة الصينية العربية. كما يجذب التطور الذي تشهده الصين شباب العائلة. ويتطلع نديم القصار، عضو مجلس إدارة فرنسبنك - منتدب، إلى أن تمتد هذه الصداقة العريقة والمتجددة بين عائلته والصين إلى المستقبل.

China is deeply concerned over the situation in the Middle East, and the renewed warfare serves no one's interest, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said on Monday.

Lin made the remarks at a regular press briefing when answering a related query.

"China hopes that relevant parties can fulfill their ceasefire commitments, keep the momentum of negotiations, stick to dispute settlement through political and diplomatic means, and realize a comprehensive and lasting ceasefire at an early date, so as to create the necessary conditions for restoring peace and tranquility in the Middle East and Gulf region," Lin said.

Peace and security is never taken for granted.
On 5 June 1941, over 1000 people died in Chongqing as civilians were seeking shelter from bombings by the Imperial Japanese Army. They suffocated or were trampled to death in a desperate struggle for safety.

During China’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Chongqing served as the wartime capital, making it a prime target for air raids that spanned from 18 February 1938 to 19 December 1944.

These indiscriminate attacks struck factories, commercial districts, and residential areas, marking the campaign as one of the most prolonged, brutal, and devastating in the history of human warfare.

Today a museum stands at the site of the tragedy as a harrowing testament and a poignant memorial to the resilience and sacrifice of those who endured relentless terror bombings by the Imperial Japanese Army.

Every year on 5 June, sirens wail across the city to remember the victims and the tragic period.

Lebanon’s sovereignty, security and territorial integrity must be respected, and Israel should immediately withdraw all its troops from Lebanon, Fu Cong, China’s permanent representative to the United Nations, said at an emergency UN Security Council meeting on the Lebanon-Israel situation on Monday afternoon local time, calling for an immediate cease-fire to end the fighting and ease tensions, according to a video released by CCTV News.
