@ClaremontRun Lee’s art never looked quite as good than when Williams inked him. Some artists are best with one particular inker - Byrne with Terry Austin, Tom Grummet with Al Vey, George Perez inking himself. It’s like a director and a lighting cinematographer.

@FkMySmPnsLife While it’s a tough nut to crack because of their dense history, I’d say the initial post-Zero Hour issues of Legion Of Superheroes and Legionnaires is some good, fun comics, up to the time traveling back to the 90s stuff.

@ClaremontRun I’ll be honest- I read this at release when I was 11ish, & clearly didn’t understand all the excellent points you’ve made about this arc. And to this day, I always wondered what the true endgame of this was supposed to be: Storm’s magic age reset in UXM 272 seemed super rushed.

@ClaremontRun This was a comic I read over and over again in 1990/1991. Not a lot of action, but tons of character stuff: characters that hadn’t interacted in a long time, fleshing out new characters, an epilogue to X-Tinction Agenda- tons of great stuff. I still love this issue.

@TomHoefWrites I don’t have an issue with “fans” who’ve come around and like the Prequels now. Nostalgia is a powerful thing, and time makes strong feelings eventually subside.

My issue is people claiming they’ve loved ‘em all along. Dude, NOBODY was defending these movies 20 years ago.
