It would be mostly inaccurate if he was played by a blue eyed, blonde albino white man. A Mediterranean man would be quite accurate. Jesus was Levantine, and those from that area have a more olive/mediterranean skin tone, but even then most still consider that tone and physiognomy “white” (though not like Northern Europeans). Usually he is portrayed quite accurately in modern media anyway.
Emily Wilson, whose translation of The Odyssey is itself unfaithful, critiques Christopher Nolan’s adaptation for emphasizing Odysseus’ “shame” over heroic “glory,” calling it a modern psychiatric revision of the character.
