A lovely sunny start to our 2025 season. This year we celebrate the 80th anniversary of the formation of the Chingford and District Engineering Club.
Look out for our special weekend in August.
This weekend it will be Ground level trains starting at 1.30.
£2 per ride

A test run if one of our lovely steam locomotives 'Wenhaston'.
All ready for opening next week 6th April 1.30 to 5.00pm. Tickets at the entrance to the railway.
We will start with raised track (the smaller railway) Next week 13th April will be Ground level.

We have been working on the railways and testing our engines ready for the new season. We start running on the 6th April 1.30 to 5.00pm. We look forward to seeing you all.

On 30th March we are running trains in support of the Dream Factory who will be holding an event in the park.

No Walt Disney on Sunday but we will have the Mayor of Waltham Forest! Roy will be on the platform and almost certainly driving a few trains. Come and support our charity day.
Running trains from 1.30 to 5.00. Tickets are £2.50 with all proceeds going to the Mayors Charities.

On Sunday 1st October from 1:30 PM onwards, the Chingford & District Model Engineering Club are hosting the Mayor’s Railway Day at Ridgeway Park

It is £2.50 per railway ride
Children under 3 go for free

ALL proceeds from this event go towards The Mayor’s Charity.
