meeting someone with a regulated nervous system is so funny......they talk slow, move slow, think slow, decide slow, think before they speak, take the time to plan things, reschedule and ask for "time to think" like oh wow
I’ve realised that a good number of you are not looking for lovers, you have a script in your head and you’re looking for an actor to come and play that role!
being horny as hell but having absolutely no interest in sleeping with someone unless there’s a real connection is actually my biggest enemy….like girl what are we supposed to do with this libido
Authentic people don’t mind being disliked because they continue to stand in their authenticity regardless of other people’s opinions. Being liked for the version of you that you created in order to be liked will take a toll on you. Authenticity requires no performance.
When a person becomes wise, the first thing they give up is showing off. They no longer feel the need to prove their intelligence, success, strength, or worth to anyone. Wisdom is knowing that validation gained from others is momentary, but self-love lasts much longer.
I feel like sometimes you guys tend to forget that to love someone is also to give them room to disappoint us—and to be disappointed by them. :’)
And that to love someone is to be able to call them out of their wrongdoings without ever having to trample on their humanity
Y'all ever met someone who will spend hours talking to you about themselves and the minute you mention just one thing about yourself they just stop listening or even try to talk about something else?😭
