Why Massa?

When our three founders started researching blockchain technology in 2017, they saw a number of limitations in the way blockchains were being built.

Scalability often came with trade-offs in decentralization. Running a node could require significant resources. And applications still depended heavily on infrastructure outside the blockchain.
