So whatever crown you choose — natural, wigged, weaved, relaxed, loc’d, shaved, or somewhere in between — decide that it is yours. Build your confidence around it. Grow into it. Life goes on either way, so you might as well love what’s on your head.
Confidence Is The Best Thing You’ll Ever Wear.
I am absolutely the person to give you unsolicited hair advice, even though I barely have any.
I get quite a few questions about my crown, so maybe my opinion counts!
For me, the brush cut solved two things at once: it cut my mirror time dramatically, and it gave me a way to own my early onset alopecia instead of hiding from it. That wasn’t easy. It took years. But I got there.
Some people still say short hair looks unprofessional. Here’s what I know: the confidence this cut gives me opens doors that a wig’s confidence never could. And that’s not shade, it’s just my truth.
When women lead authentically, entire industries evolve.
In every boardroom, I’ve seen the power of women who don’t try to fit a mold — they redefine it.
Today I want to discuss what happens when women lead from both strength and sincerity.
You may be underestimated.
You may be misunderstood.
You may even be written off — just like Gurdon was.
But dream BOLDLY. Work FAITHFULLY. Walk CONFIDENTLY.
Because God always finishes what He starts. ❤️
So hear this:
🌱 Do not let anyone’s doubt become your reality.
🌱 Do not allow the world to put a full stop where God has placed a comma.
🌱 Do not shrink because someone else failed to recognise your potential.
To those living with HIV: your courage continues to shape a future where health, dignity, and hope belong to everyone.
❤️ Let’s stand together. Let’s end stigma. Let’s keep moving toward zero new infections and zero discrimination.
#WorldAIDSDay#EndStigma#SupportAndSolidarity
Today, we honour the strength, stories, and resilience of everyone affected by HIV and AIDS.
World AIDS Day is a reminder that progress is possible, and it happens when we choose compassion over stigma, awareness over silence, and support over isolation.
As November unfolds, a reminder: leadership isn’t noise, it’s nuance.
It’s how we listen, guide, and make space for others to shine.
Grace in leadership isn’t softness, it’s strategy.

Keep showing up — even when no one’s clapping yet.
Because the crown is earned in the quiet. 👑
This journey is not always loud. It’s built in the still moments, the unseen work, the inner resolve.
As we step into August, remember...
You are capable. You are becoming. You are built for this.
This month, we move with intention. We make bold decisions. We show up —not just for the goals, but for the woman we’re becoming in the process.
Let’s build. Let’s lead. Let’s become.
@tmukogo I also think that a huge factor that affects a lot of these idea builders is they “enjoy” the idea more than the execution. Ziyanda could have failed to crossover from idea to execution. Execution is where blood is drawn.
Your pieces are a gem. I now come here 4 buz acumen!
