@SoxMach_pnoles Yeah, my feed is cluttered with Meidroth complaints. It's silly. Dude is on pace for a 3 to 3.5 WAR season and we'd probably wouldn't be in 1st place if it wasn't for his contributions on offense and defense.

@nathezCRocker @Ecnerwal23 Didn't like the move at all down 1. Maaaaaybe if it was tied i could think along with it. Vargas also runs well. Even if they successfully converted, you're playing for a tie at home with a completely gassed bullpen. He only gave his offense 2 outs to get the job done.

@SoxMach_pnoles I wasn't crazy about it either especially with all the lefty bats coming up, but I'm guessing that bullpen day Saturday and the tight extra innings game on Sunday limited the available options. I think Newcomb throwing 40 pitches Saturday eliminated his availability Monday.

@MrDelicious13 Taylor gave up 2 dongs on his fastball this road trip after only giving up 1 prior. Hopefully, not tipping it somehow. I was alarmed at how Carpenter barreled a heater way out of the zone immediately after the 8th inning HR.

@Ecnerwal23 I agree. He's definitely the straw and while I love his willingness to get plunked, I do worry about our straw getting himself a broken bone with 20-30 more HBPs this year. I hope he's strategic, lol.
