Exploring abstract art, inspired by Georgia O'Keeffe and natural forms. Brilliant work by the talented Maria S in year 8! An original response, inspired by an animal skull and a transcription of one of O'Keeffe's paintings.

Well done to Isabella K.B. in year 8 for two wonderful pieces of art; the first is a transcription of O'Keeffe's work and the second one is an original response piece, inspired by a bird skull. @ChiswickSchool@okeeffemuseum#ambitiousandproud#georgiaokeeffe

Students spent the whole day exploring art, craft and design from the past and present, across different civilisations π @ChiswickSchool#ambitiousandproud
Bright colours, exotic themes and a controversial legacy of the self-proclaimed "savage", Paul Gauguin. Aesthetically beautiful and informative about past attitudes; a collection that invites us to examine our own perceptions of the greater world @ChiswickSchool#GauguinPortraits
Helen, Paris, Achilles, Odysseus & many more heroes from Homer's epic poem The Iliad - all present, forever inspiring artists throught the centuries to try and explain what drives us to be who we are; love, honour, survival and loss #TroyExhibition@BritishMuseum@ChiswickSchool

Colour, texture and rustic scenes from the father of Moder art. Observing life and capturing its essence through his work, Van Gogh is the ultimate artist who dedicates his life to his vision π»π¨πΌβπ¨ @ChiswickSchool@vangoghmuseum#art#Amsterdam#sunflowers#mentalhealth
