Dear Lord,
Today, keep me from shrinking because somebody struggles with who You made me, make me secure when my gifts make others uncomfortable, keep me productive when support gets selective and keep me moving when recognition skips my name. Bless what I put my hands to so well that even people who don’t care for me can’t deny the fruit. In Jesus’ name, amen🙏🏽
"You don't have to give up on life, to throw up your hands and cry, 'It's no use.' ... You can have God's peace, God's joy, God's happiness, God's security; and yours can become the most thrilling life in the world." —Billy Graham
“And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.”
Luke 12:15 KJV

Joel 2:26 Now you will have plenty to eat, and be satisfied. You will praise the Lord your God, who has done wonderful things for you. My people will never be despised again.
Something to Ponder
To pray "Thy will be done" is the death of self. Christ taught us to pray it, "Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10), and that is a prayer that God's will would be carried out on this earth the way the angels carry it out above, without argument, without delay, and without exception. The moment you pray it honestly you have prayed against everything on earth that resists Him, and one of those things is you. It means laying every plan and every demand at the feet of God and accepting that His will may undo yours. Jesus showed us what that costs in Gethsemane when He prayed, "Not my will, but yours be done" (Luke 22:42), and that prayer led Him straight to the cross.
Most prayers today sound more like "my will be done." We treat God as though He exists to bless our plans and secure our comfort. But Scripture says, "The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps" (Proverbs 16:9). To truly pray "Thy will be done" is to hand over our rights and our lives, believing His will is wiser and better than our own, "for as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways" (Isaiah 55:9).
Submitting like that takes faith, because only the one who trusts His goodness can hand Him the pen. And the surrender always ends in life, because the God who undoes our will is the same God who raised His Son from the dead.
So let me ask you, dear reader, when you pray "Thy will be done," are you ready for God to undo yours?
"Behold, God is my salvation. I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the LORD, the LORD, is my strength and song; and he has become my salvation.”
Isaiah 12:2
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
Deuteronomy 31:6
Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and straining towards what is ahead, I press on towards the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenwards in Christ Jesus.
Phil 3:13–14
It is foolishness to want to spend eternity with a God you had no time for on earth.
You had time for work, money, entertainment, relationships and everything else.
But God? “No time.”
Yet you expect death to suddenly make you desire Him?
If you want eternity with God, know Him now.
Seek Him now. Love Him now. Surrender to Him now.
“Now is the day of salvation.” — 2 Corinthians 6:2
