Last week we talked about Mother Duck turning her eggs several times a day. This helps the bird not to stick inside the shell. We mark our eggs with an “X” and “O” to help us with turning. We discover the first part of the duckling embryo to grow is the eye! Check it out 🦆

Today is day 5 of our duck eggs incubation cycle. We notice the eggs have veins and an air sack! We are excited to see what changes we will discover in the coming weeks! @SMCDSB_SCH
